MK Dons ended Darlington's unbeaten home record with a late goal from
Jemal Johnson giving the visitors victory.
MK Dons had the better of a lively first half, with Mark Wright having
the best opportunity to open the scoring but mis-kicking in front of
goal.
Darlington hit back and saw striker Pawel Abbott fire against a post.
The game was a closely fought affair and was settled by Johnson's angled
striker after Darlington failed to clear a Jude Stirling cross.
